NC RESTAURANT WORKERS RELIEF FUND

North Carolina restaurants and hotels provide jobs for more than 550,000 or our state’s citizens which comprises 13% of our state’s workforce. With the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in the shutdown of in-house dining, travel and lodging stays, the majority of the hospitality workforce has lost their jobs, their income, their entire livelihood through no fault of their own. The goal of the NC Restaurant Workers Relief fund is to provide immediate financial assistance to the tens of thousands of cooks, servers, dishwashers, housekeepers, and others who live paycheck-to-paycheck, and suddenly find themselves in distress.
